DDT is a humorous SRPG with a tabletop parody setting, featuring meta dialog and narrative.
Players switch between teams to complete objectives on each map, focusing on balancing the flow of combat until all humorous pen and paper session scenarios are achieved.

As the player, you are not limited to controlling just one team of heroes; instead, you possess the power to switch between both teams at your discretion. This makes you the mastermind behind every move, both for the valiant protagonists and the boney antagonists.
However, the objective in this game isn't solely about obliterating the opposition in classic SRPG fashion. Instead, your primary goal is to maintain a delicate balance on the battlefield. The game throws witty curveballs at you, presenting a series of humorous and unexpected situations that could easily occur during an uproarious pen and paper session.
Each map becomes a playground for imaginative storytelling, where strategic moves and counter-moves intertwine with comedic flair. You'll need to carefully manage your resources, time your actions, and coordinate your teams' efforts to achieve your objectives with panache and laughter!

Hey, this is a really cool game! I love tactics games and this really inspired me! The idea of being able to play on both teams is super fun, having different objectives with each team is also interesting
It would be nice to have a little fewer messages though, it felt like the start of the game was a bit slow
I absolutely agree with this. A few of the tutorial dialog lines were added last minute after some of my playtesters got confused about the mechanics, which resulted in these rather verbose explanations.
If you can label the HP and MP meters it would be very helpful, are they different sides for the humans and skeletons?
The status windows are indeed mirrored for each side of the screen; however, it's not related to the faction.
I had thought that using green and blue would be enough for all players to easily differentiate them, but I guess I was wrong.
I will keep this in mind for any future games, so thank you for the feedback.
what is the idea of playing as an opponent?
Strictly speaking, there are no "opponents" in this game.
As the player, you are tasked with ensuring that a set of predetermined events play out as they should.
How you go about accomplishing them is largely left up to you to decide, but be aware that each side has their own tasks... though making a team self-sabotage is always an option ;)
